They are best known for writing Disney's Moana.

Their journalism work has appeared in Hawaiian Airlines’ “Hana Hou” magazine, United’s “Hemispheres”, Surfing Magazine, Modern Luxury, and Land&People.

The Kandell twins are known for writing tentpole family adventure movies like “Moana” for Disney Animation, “Sidekicks” an original reimagining of classic fairy tales for Fox, and a live action adaptation of “Aladdin” the classic 1001 Arabian Nights tale for Harry Potter producer David Heyman at Warner Bros. They also created “The Nutcracker”: a live TV event reimagining of the classic ballet created with Director Jon Chu for Fox TV.

The Kandells are equally known for prestige, talent driven passion projects like “The Golden Record” an original script about Carl Sagan that was top 10 of the 2013 BlackList of best unproduced screenplays of the year.
